Nebraska Life

Nebraska is a hard working place, home of the meat.
Working on the farm 12 hours a day.
The dirt on the tractors slowly dry and fall to the shop floor.
Feeling the wind shaking the corn stalks in the fields.

My chimney smokes at 6:00 am with my other house friends.
My square eyes gleam in the sunlight.

name poem

It means hardworking, sacrificing, and awesome.
My favorite number is 56.
My favorite color is like a blueberry.
I like to shoot rabbits with my brothers.
It is the memory of my brothers, who taught me how to laugh and hunt
when they spend time with me.
My name is Bryce, and it means hard working and joking.

The wind can be evil
field goals can be terribly tuff
chopping your feet can make you powerful
throw the football with out any disbelief

Sheet Rocking

Sheet Rocking can be shocking
To be done would be so fun
At the end of the day theres know way we  could ever play

I can feel the earth shaking underneath my bare hands.
I can smell the dirt flying into my nostrils.
The sight of sheet metal flying off corn bins
You can hear the screaming of children's voices through the flowing breeze
You can taste the grass and dirt flying through the winds

Remembering the down beats
Understanding the Johhny Rabb beat
Making it sound amazing
Sacrifice your time
Energetic playing
Trusting that it can be done

American freedom

                                                       American Freedom
                                                           by:Bryce K.

What does freedom mean to most Americans. Freedom to most people means the right to bear arms and sacrifice for this country.
When you think about the right to bear arms you probably think of all the great things you can do with a gun. One thing that is absolutely amazing that you can do with a gun is go hunting. Another thing that is extraordinary is having the right of protection with a side arm. Lastly having guns at your own home at night. These thing that I have talked about is the  finest  privilege this country has ever gotten.
Another reason to appreciate freedom is sacrifice, all kinds of sacrifice. One thing is all the different types of the military sacrificing there lives for us. another thing is trying their best for the U.S.A. another thing that comes to mind when thinking of sacrifice I think of the saying freedom is not free.
Freedom means that you have the right to bear arms, and sacrifice for this country. Now you should understand what freedom means.

ghost story

                                                            GHOST STORY

There once was a kid named Ricky he got a suspension it did not go over that satisfactorily with the principal. When he was in the office that day with the suspension something bad caused him to go insane.
When the bell rings Ricky is in a atrocious mood he scares
for no reason. When you are walking down the 100 hallway the
lockers open as your advance them. The janitors don’t go in the
janitors room anymore because he tens to stay there quite a bit
of the time or so they say. Now they call him Big Ricky well mainly
because he is 9ft 6 so he is one of the substantial creatures on
the planet.
Well big Ricky is invisible and lately he has been throwing
the teachers into the lockers for no reason. What I don’t understand is why does he have to do such a ghastly thing.Tho it is kind of nice now we don’t have to listen to lectures.

hog warts

As Harry Potter wandered in to the great hall I jumped up about five feet in the air at all of the bats flapping around. I got over that quickly when I say all of the food my mouth dropped and my friend Ron went and got everything that we needed to stuff as big as a turkey.
Some of the food we had was crispy, crunchy KFC and we also median rare steak, roast beef, and my very very favorite was the ribs were some of the best I've ever had.
Besides the food it was some of the scariest places I've ever if I didn't have my friend Ron I would have fainted and died.  The scary stuff felt like it was over after supper they brought out games! They had race car games and deer hunting games and all sorts of absolutely amazing games! But what was really gross was the smell in there was like decomposing bodies; it smelled I eat kind of bad but I got use to it quickly. But besides all that it was awesome.

nursery rhymes

Mother Goose

"Baa, baa, black sheep..."
 by old Mother Goose
Baa, baa, black furry sheep,
   Have you any wool?
Yes sir, yes sir,
   Three bags full;

One for my amazing master,
   One for my dame,
And one for the three little boys

   That live in our lane.

An Unforgettable School Day

                                                    An Unforgettable School Day

This year there was a estimated amount of 23,380 brain tumors.I would have never thought that this fact would affect me. My Sixth grade year at O’Neill Elementary School was another standard day until something happened.
Well today was a pretty normal day. I took a shower in the morning, and then got some breakfast and what not. Then went to school and went to all my class like a normal day, but at about reading time, I got a phone call. This wasn't a typical phone call; it was a very serious one. The phone call was from my dad saying something about my mom.
The crestfallen call ruined my day. I had to go to a luxurious hospital in Omaha the whole weekend. The reason why I had to stay the whole weekend down there was because my mom had a brain tumor! Saturday morning the doctors had to figure out what to do to get it, so we ended up waiting a week before they could figure out how to help her. That next Friday they had the surgery. It went smoothly, but there was a catch. After the surgery they hadn’t done a substantial job, so the doctors had to open her back up to make sure make there wasn’t bacteria.
Finally she was ok and fit. Though I don’t know if she was feeling that good, or if she was just that excited to see me.
Unfortunately brain tumors did affect me, but my mom after Mom had her surgery, she said that she is going to walk every night for people with MS or brain tumors. Now my mom is a survivor, and she is walking without a cane.

Bedroom Writing

In my room I have a book shelf that has old books from the late 1800s and early 1900s. Then I have a bed that is a twin. I'm a little big for it, but it works -  like they say, “what ever works”. My bed cover has a blue and green bed spread. It’s very soft and warm. I have two dressers; one of them is tall and short, the other one is long and short. The long and short dresser holds my brothers’ and dad’s old toys.
In my room I also have a refrigerator. It has Diet Pepsi, Propel, and a Snickers ice cream bar. Then I have my MASSIVE! closet, so I have all my clothes and military gear, and I have my really fun bb guns for bb gun wars. Now I have my desk that has my stereo so you can control my surround sound. Then, I have fancy cups on my desk and expensive coins in another. I have coins from all over the world! Next, beside the cups I have my glasses case where I put my glasses at night,i’m rich beyond measure.
